As part of the federal Assistance to Firefighters Fire Prevention and Safety Grants program, the fire department has received a number of smoke detector alarms to be distributed for free to households within our coverage area.  If you have a need for a detector within your home please contact the fire station at 472-9281 to request one. There are also visual alarms available for those with a hearing impairment.

As a reminder you should have a working smoke detector for every bedroom and on every floor of your home.
