Our annual fund drive has kicked off for 2023. All residents of Ebensburg and Cambria Township within our first due coverage area should have received an information packet in the mail detailing how and why to donate. We encourage everyone to consider donating this year. The fire company, like everyone else, continues to deal with the raising cost of equipment, supplies and fuel that have only gotten worse with the supply chain issues and inflation. Every dollar you donate adds up and helps to ensure our continued ability to provide a first-class volunteer fire service.

You can donate online by using the donation system. Once you create an account click Make Donation and enter the amount you wish to donate into the “2023 Fund Drive” box.

As always, you can mail in your donation via the self-addressed envelope provided in the information package, or members of the fire department will be traveling door-to-door to pick up donations. Our pickups will once again coincide with the start of National Fire Prevention Week. We will be traveling throughout Cambria Township during the afternoon of October 8th and Ebensburg Borough during the evening of October 19th.

As a reminder these are the only days members of the Dauntless Fire Company will be going door-to-door. Members should identify themselves when you answer the door and be wearing a shirt, typically red or blue, bearing our logo. If you feel someone is trying to scam you by misrepresenting themselves as a member of the fire department please call our fire station or the police right away.
