Thomas Manning has been proudly serving the Ebensburg community since 1980. Tom is a life member of the fire department brings a tremendous amount of knowledge to the administration of the Dauntless Fire Company. Tom's fire service career began outside New York City in the late 1960's with Arlington Engine Company No. 1, part of the Arlington Fire District, in the town of Poughkeepsie, NY. Tom has passed on his experiences to both sons.  One son remains an active firefighter while the other is a paramedic.

Tom is currently serving as the Fire Police Lieutenant, Trustee, and is a former company safety officer.

Tom has training in fire suppression, pumps, E.V.O.C., rescue, hazardous materials, and many other aspects of the fire service.

He has served on various committees including: By-Law Committee (Chairman), Historical Committee, Resolution Committee, Gear/Uniform Committee, and 2nd Alarm Committee (Chairman).
