Shawn Dorsch has been proudly serving the Ebensburg community since 1997 and is a second-generation firefighter.

He holds certifications in Firefighter II, Driver/Operator - Pumper, and Driver/Operator - Aerial. Additionally, he has training in: Structural Burn, S.C.B.A, BVR, Ropes, Engine Company Operations, Truck Company Operations, Snorkel Operations, E.V.O.C, Hazmat Operations, Rapid Intervention, Rural Water Movement, Large Diameter Hose, Leadership, PA-130 Wild Land Firefighting, and Bus Rescue.

Shawn has been elected as Truck Captain for 2009.  He has served as Training Officer (2006-2009), and has been a trustee since 2006. He also serves on the following committees: Raffle, Decoration (Co-Chairman), Bylaw , and Training Committee.

Shawn is a calm mannered member with a strong interest in health and fitness. He has many hours of training in various areas of the fire service. With his thorough knowledge of computers, Shawn is our in house IT representative.

Shawn is supported in his duties by his wife Maribeth.
