Ryan Andrew Kaza is a second generation firefighter at DFC following in his father, Andrew Kaza's footsteps. Ryan joined the company in 2000 after he completed his junior membership program and was among the first to complete the new program offered by DFC. Ryan who has lived in Ebensburg his entire life continues to make firefighting his passion as well as part of his career. Ryan is a certified technician of Kaza Fire, who trains with MSA and educates others on proper fire equipment.

Ryan was eleacted to Hose Lieutenant for 2009.

In his past time Ryan enjoys working on trucks with his friends, boating, jet skiing, traveling, and fishing, but most of all spending time with his family and girlfriend.

Ryan is certified in the following areas: Firefighter I, Firefighter II, Hazmat Operations, BVR-T. Ryan has also taken many classes pertaining to fire suppression, rescue, and hazardous materials response. He serves on the on the SCBA Committee.
