Mike is a life member of the fire company beginning his career in 1973.  He is joined in his efforts by his three children Justin, Michele, and Sarah. 

Since joining the department, he has worked his way through the ranks holding positions as Engine Captain, Truck Captain, Assistant Chief, and Fire Chief. 

He has a vast amount of training in fire suppression, hazmat operations, NIMS, vehicle rescue, rural water movement, Snorkel operations, Engine company operations, CPR/First Aid, leadership, and other officer classes.  He also has extensice expertise in fire pumps,and fire apparatus.

In his spare time, he can be found working on his private collection of American LaFrance engines and ladder trucks.

He is supported in his efforts by his wife Carol.
