Guy Huber, a life member of the fire department, joined . Guy is a first generation fire fighter. Prior to becoming a member of the fire department, Guy was the treasurer of the fire department, a position provided for in the bylaws. This is the only position a non-member of the fire department can hold.Guy remained the department treasurer for over 30 years. He retired from US Bank as a vice president after 34 years of service.

Guy also served on the following committees over the years: Casino Night Committee, Kitchen, Finance, Auditing, Election, Bylaw and Resolution.

Guy is a member of the Cambria County Volunteer Firemen's Association,Central District Firemen's Association, Western Area Firemen's Association and the PA State Firemen's Association.

Through the years Guy has received training in fire suppression, fire rescue, vehicle rescue, hazmat, landing zones, emergency vehicle operations, water movement, fire cause and determination, and fire police.

Guy is still active with fund raising and the fire police.

In his spare time, Guy can be found camping and spending time with his family.  Guy is supported at home in his efforts, by wife Ruth.
