Gerri "Bucky" Hillegas has been proudly serving the Ebensburg community since 2001. Gerri is an active member who has over 15 years of fire service experience, which began with the St. Michael Fire Department.

Gerri has the following certifications: Firefighter I, Firefighter II, BVR-T, Hazmat Ops, and EMT-B. In addition to these certifications, Gerri has a vast amount of training in many areas of the fire service. She maintains EMT-B status with the PA Department of Health,and she brings medical experience from her profession as an RN at the emergency department.

Gerri serves on the following committees: Banquet Committee, , and Parade/Uniform Committee.

In her spare time, she enjoys working out and spending time with her two Yorkies  "Molly" and "T.G."
