Dean "Nono" Damin has been proudly serving the Ebensburg community since 1954. Dean is a life member who has passed on his many years of knowledge to his son Rene, and grandson Nick. Dean is also a life member in his hometown of Portage.

Dean has tremendous knowledge of the outlay of Ebensburg, and the citizens of our community. He has extensive training in various aspects of the fire service and is a past trustee of the Dauntless Fire Company.

He has been a member of the: Kitchen Committee, Flower Committee, Refreshment Committee (Co-Chairman), and House Committee.

Dean can still be found gearing up and riding the trucks to assist as a fire police officer. He is a great asset to both the community and the Dauntless Fire Company.
