Robert "Bob" Feighner has been proudly serving the community since 1992. Bob is a second generation firefighter, following in his parents, Joe Feighner and Susan Link's footsteps. Bob was a former member of the Colver fire department, having served there from 1989 through 1992.. taking a break to run with us from 1992 through 1997 while living in Ebensburg. Bob moved back to Colver for a short time and ran again with Colver Fire Department from 1997 through 2005. We are glad to have Bob back as a member here, after hopefully moving for the last time.
Over the years, Bob has served on the following committees: House, Fire Prevention, Decoration and Training.
Bob is a member of the Cambria County Volunteer Firemen's Association and the Central District Firemen's Association.
Bob is currently certified as a Firefighter I , Hazmat Operations Level, Wildland Firefighting and Emergency Medical Technician. Bob has been an EMT since 1991.
Over the years, Bob has received extensive training in fire suppression, fire rescue, vehicle rescue, hazmat, landing zones, emergency vehicle operations, Pumps I and II, incident command, fire officership, Ropes I, bus rescue, farm rescue, arson, fire cause and determination, first aid and CPR.
In his spare time Bob can be found spending time with his family, hunting & fishing, and generally being outdoors.
Bob is supported in his efforts at home by his son, future firefighter, Seth.
